Pot Odds
The price you are getting on a call: the bet you must call relative to the total pot.
Pot odds compare the amount you must call to the total size of the pot after that call. If the pot is $100 and you must call $50, you are risking $50 to win $150, which is 3-to-1, or you need to win about 25% of the time to break even.
Compare your pot odds to your chance of making the best hand (your equity). If your equity is higher than the price you are paying, calling is profitable. Pot odds are the foundation of every drawing decision.
